Job Summary:
The Assistant Director for Pupil Personnel Services is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Committee on Special Education, including supporting the Preschool Chairperson and ensuring compliance with relevant state and federal regulations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of special education processes and regulations. The Chairperson will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create appropriate educational plans for students with disabilities, monitor progress, and foster collaboration among educators, families, and outside agencies. Additionally, this role will include the oversight and chairing of Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) meetings as needed. Qualifications:
