Job Description

PROBATIONARY PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER (SECONDARY)

 

 

The BCSD is in need of a motivated educator who values the promotion of physical fitness and health and who obtains strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.

 

Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the following areas required:

 

• Effective, student centered classroom management strategies;
• Culturally responsive instructional practices for PE instructional settings;
• The ability to co-teach and plan with various other teachers in the district;
• Experience working with students with disabilities;
• Student/Family/Community communication and engagement;
• Coaching experience required.

Valid NYS Certification in Physical Education Grades K-12
