LEAVE REPLACEMENT 5^th GRADE TEACHER

 

Anticipated Placement: JV Forrestal Elementary

 

5th Teacher Leave Replacement from 12/7/26 through 3/5/27 (anticipated)

 

Requirements:

• NYS Certification in Elementary General Education required, Grades 1-6;
• Demonstrated and/or experience in the following are required:
  • NYS Learning Standards and curriculum design, delivery, and assessment;
  • Developmental Stages of Early Education;
  • Effective, student centered classroom management strategies;
  • Culturally responsive instructional practices for elementary classrooms;
  • Integration of technology to plan, deliver, and assess student learning;
  • Use of summative and formative student data to inform instructional decisions and student progress;
  • Effective strategies for student and family engagement;
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills required.
• Experience teaching in an ICT setting is preferred.
