Elementary K-6 (One Teacher)

One Year Assignment

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

Provide the following school-wide support: 

 

• Work in collaboration with Asst. Supt. of Curriculum & Student Support and “other” RTI TOSA to help support the continuation of the RTI model;
• Assist in the continuation of the new design of the RTI model; 
• Use data to help teachers identify and group children who need additional support; 
• Help teachers identify and implement classroom-based, developmentally appropriate interventions for individual children and groups of children to enhance their acquisition of social/emotional and cognitive skills; 
• Provide support and coaching to teachers in the implementation of research-based interventions;
• Support teachers in documenting children’s progress using the new RTI process;
• Participate and turnkey professional learning that will support teachers’ understanding of the 3 Tiers of the RTI/MTSS model;
• Assist teachers with the gathering and organizing of grade-level/subject area universal assessment tools for progress monitoring purposes for all teachers; 
• Support the facilitation of RTI meetings.
